Ness draws on her experience as a mother, children’s librarian, and kid-at-heart to write picture books about mischief, magic, hope, and kindness.
She studied film production and screenwriting, and worked as a media producer before retraining as a children’s librarian. Now she spends her days reading picture books, thinking about picture books, planning programs for little people, and eating chocolate.
Her favourite dinosaur is the parasaurolophus and she lives with her two children, two cats, and ever-patient husband.
